Seifer Almasy is a career student at Balamb Garden. If he applied himself, Seifer could have been a member of SeeD a long time ago, but his lackadaisical attitude towards trying has prevented him from graduating. Seifer however, found his calling as a member of the disciplinary committee, along with his 'posse', that consists of Rajin and Fujin. Seifer is a confident young man, and he seems angry at the whole world. He does not endear himself to many people, and is quick to make fun of his peers. "I have a chicken-wuss and a guy who just hit puberty on my squad." Seifer finds life at Balamb Garden to be boring and unfulfilling, and joins forces with Sorceress Edea, who gives Seifer power. With Squall Leonhart on the opposing side, this sets up an inevitable confrontation to settle their rivalry... Seifer has a 'battle scar' of sorts, that runs from the top left of his forehead, down to the top part of his right cheek. This scar was incurred during a morning practice session with Squall. Seifer's symbol is that of a cross, which can be seen on both sleeves of his grey trench coat, as well as across his vest. Like his rival, Seifer uses the Gunblade as his weapon of choice, but he wields it differently than Squall does. Unlike Squall, who holds the gunblade in a sword-type grip, Seifer holds his out in front of him, with one arm, pointing the bladed edge at his enemies, as if it were a hand gun. This shows Seifer's cockiness and confidence, as opposed to Squall's reserve (in holding his gunblade close to his body). *Power Ranking is based on the overall usefulness of the character, based on categories such as "average damage dealt in comparison to others", "skill variety", and "offensive/defensive pros/cons". These are simply my opinions as I play through the game. |
