The corprate conglomerate of Shinra rules over the city of Midgar with an iron fist, and everyone is powerless to change anything. One of Shinra's operations include using of the planet's lifestream for energy, which is killing the planet. Now, a rebel group called AVALANCHE launch a desperate attack on the Mako Reactors to stop Shinra, and enlist the help of a former SOLDIER mercenary named Cloud Strife. AVALANCHE's missions eventually lead them to a bigger problem beyond Shinra that threatens the entire world. Can a small group of men and women possibly stop it?
